Blisters on back of jungle carpet!!!!!!!

I've had a jungle carpet for about 5 years now. And in the last couple days its gotten big blisters on its back. Any idea?

I've had a few snakes over the years that got some small burns from sitting under the light too long. I changed the lighting and got perfect healing.
