Anery question?

jscrick Mar 02, 2009 11:25 PM

Found this nice little Central American Boa that some individual sold/traded/exchanged to a local Herp Store. He looks real Anery, (black and white) but he's got some definite pink in his ground color on the sides. Absolutely no yellow, orange or pure red. He looks to be Mexican, possibly Cay Caulker or a mix of closely related locals.
No telling what he's got to him, but I'm definitely interested. My question is -- Is it possible he's Anery, with the lateral pink ground color? He's basically a black and white boa. Got huge [white] voids to his saddles.
May go back to get him tomorrow. I'll post pics if I do.

If there is any pink, than it's not an anery.

Many Central Americans are anery look alikes.

Here are a few of my "wanna-bes"

He doesn't even have any color on his belly!

These are siblings with almost no red/pink/orange...except on their bellies.

And another hypo-erythristic fellow...

And an 08 baby (from a litter of hypos)....

I agree with the above post, if there is any pink, it can't be anery. Without seeing it, your description made me think of an argentine?
