I"ve been using Ol' Roy (wal-mart brand, red bag) for a couple months now. They seem to be doing fine. It's less than $5 for a 22 lb bag.

do you also feed them mice food?
I just bought a bag of puppy chow it has 27% protien and then I bought some ferret food because it has 35% protien.

wonder why kmart sells ferret food when they are illegal here in Ca.

You may want to go easy on the high protein. I have done it in the past and the mice do not seem to live very long on it, liver problems I think. You may want to check to see if you can get Kent brand lab chow. It works great and only costs about $10 for 50lbs. Craig Kade

I get it from a local grainery, I use to do Mazuri, but that cost about $25 for 25lb. If you have any feed stores near I would start there. Maybe there are some advantages of living in farm country. LOL. Craig

that is one advantage. Is there another?

Just kidding.

lol
