What is Hypomelanistic, has wide ranging proven genetic pattern Abnormalities and last but certainly not least, also glows with the proven genetic “Pearlescent” Side Pattern?

There was only one. This little girl’s Daddy. Now there is more than one. What am I going to do?

JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

Here is a shot of Daddy today:

Here is another Pearlescent baby:

Another baby:

Another baby complete with Pearl sides and wild pattern but NOT a Hypo!

Apparently the Aberrant pattern is not joined at the hip with the Hypo genes. In fact I believe this is perhaps accelerated by the Hypo gene or influenced but not the cause.

Their Mother is seven feet long. She is "The Monster Tail". Here she is at about four feet:

She produced 54 babies and 6 slugs. Gotta love those kind of productive genes eh?

The biggest question in my mind is this; “What will the offspring of these babies bred back to Daddy or to each other bring???” The mind wonders doesn’t it? Somebody pinch me so I know I’m not dreaming.

The Boaphile's Spot.

Many may not know this but if this SerpentCity poster is the same one I used to know, he is the one that first observed and identified two ovulations in Boa Constrictors. I often get the credit for this but as I noted in my writing on the subject SJM is the one that first observed this fact. SJM has been a large producer of Argentine Boas, Surinam Red Tail Boas (In fact may have produced the largest number of Surniams of anyone in one single year. Something near 70 correct?), numerous Pythons, including Ball Pythons before they got cool. In fact he was one of the first Herpers to make a full time living from his animals. SJM is one of the most knowledgable herpers anywhere. When someone writes the history of Herping SJM will definitely have a mention in that. SJM knows has forgotten more than I will ever know.

I think this SerpentCity person whose initials are listed as SJM must be the same SJM I remember. Say, SJM… Is your birthday November 22 nd?

...yes it's me, coming out of the darkness. Yes, it was 63 surinams in '99 (25,26,and 12). And Jeff, I still don't really think it was 2 ovulations, but really, that was 1995 and what do I know. But thanks anyways for the kind words. And people, don't listen to Jeff-I don't know crap! SJM
