Alright. So...this is the 3rd time i post this...hopefully this one will stick.
Ok, so on Monday night i found a healthy litter of gooey lil motley babies patiently waiting for me to clean them off =)
In total there were 22 live healthy babies...also pretty big babies...the largest i've ever seen that i've produced. Look like they could take on a good sized meal!
They were produced by breeding a 2005 Motley het Albino male (produced by Chris Nicholas) to a 2004 Kahl Sunglow (produced by Barry Berg). I picked her up from Barry for her stark contrast and amazing color. This really was a text book breeding.
She dropped 102 days POS with 22 live offsrping, 3 stills and 12 slugs. There were 1 sunglow motley (female), 7 Albino Motleys!!!!, 3 hypo motleys het albino, 2 motleys het albino, 4 sunglows, 2 albinos, 1 hypo het albino, and 3 hets. I am very impressed with this outcome...one of the stills was an albino motley so there potentially could have been 8 albino motleys in this litter...this way outskews the statistical odds!
Hope everyone else has a productive and successful year!
