Here are some of the Islands other inhabitants, the temps were 40's at night and high 50's for the day so not a whole lot of activity yet.

Barrel jelly fish coming in on the tide.

Macro's

7/8 foot alligator.

Joel- we are on St. Simons Island which is the next island over from where Jekyll. Very close. Next time you are in town look us up.

Great pictures. I am afraid I have visited the turtle center but I have never volunteered. Ok now I feel bad. Nice way to spend a productive vacation with the family though. Educational and helpful all around.

I will go back this summer and all the native reptiles will be moving then, if I am lucky enough I will get some pic's of the loggerhead turtles nesting on the Island.
