My baby Burm is Bipolar !......more........>

She's just a lil' over a month old. I hook her(with a snake hook) to get her out of her cage and she's as freindly as can be. I put her back in her cage and the second I close the lid, she hiss's and strikes repeatively! Is this normal for youngsters? Dave

Hissing and striking is normal for youngsters, period. My male is a fireball in his cage but totally calms when outside of it. Just be careful when dealing with him/her inside the cage. With handling it should tame down some but there are some that are always fiery in their house!
