Updated 08 Peruvian pics!!

cbmorphs Mar 05, 2009 01:16 PM

I think this is the first time I've shown updated pics of these since shortly after birth..? I still have all the animals I produced last year and it's becoming a lot of work! I have a lot of new litters coming soon I hope... Reason for keeping all them so long is, I was hoping to get top picks from each litter.. Plus the advantage of seeing some of them change colors, since some of the morphs don't get there colors until they age a little.. I really need to make room for the new babies coming soon!!!

Thanks for looking,

That 2nd (middle) pic is the one I would vote for hold back status, clean, nice saddles, black markings and from what I can see a nice tail to boot.

it still looks like you will have another six months to a year before they color up for you but they all look like they will yellow up like mom.

Good luck.

Joel

I agree on these Peruvian's coloring up in another six months or so.. There's only 3 of them that look like they'll be getting the nice yellow or buckskin colors that some Peruvian's get.. The rest of them seem to be darker with a more aberrant pattern to them.. The 3 mentioned above have a real clean crisp color with a more uniform pattern..

On a side note:
I would of loved to had gotten one or two from Gus's litters, or was it Vin Russo? I eSpecially liked the "HYPER" colored ones that everybody was squabling over it being a genectic color mutation or not!! He hasn't posted any photo's of them in a long time, so I forgot who it was for sure that had them.. None the less they were or are some AWESOME Peruvians. Maybe he will read this, or someone that got some of those animals will and POST some updated PHOTO'S!!!

Thanks for the reply Joel and good luck with your season!!

It was Gus' litter of Pucallpa Peruvians that has produced those hyper-pigmented animals two years in a row and you are right they are some of the best looking BCC that have come down the pike.

here is an older pic of a "normal" from that litter, his colors are just starting to change for me.

Man!! He's awesome, when do you plan on breeding him and do you have a female picked out for him?

That's truly a nice animal, I wonder if anyone ended up with any of those Hyper Peruvians from that litter?

Thanks,
Chaz

but was unable to talk the owner out of her, I do know someone who has a couple of them.

The male I have is an 08 so I have several years to go, as of right now the female that I would like to breed to him is this animal, she is an 07 Pucallpa produced by Matt Blast.
