Black Pastel to Black eyed Leucistic?

BCRHerps Mar 07, 2009 08:41 AM

Has anybody ever bred those two together? Seems like it might make something interesting

Black Pastel x Black eyed leucistic(say super fires) = black pastel fires.

Then you breed your black pastel fires together and get black pastels, fires, leucistics, super black pastels...

You can also make Black Eyed Leucistics with either one or two copies of Black Pastel in them by doing the breeding your talking about. Regardless if it's visual in the white snake or not since the 2 genes are not alleles of each other the Black Pastel gene can easily still be in there. Question then becomes is how Black Pastel changes or doesn't change the look of the white snake. I bet we will know the answer to this later this season, others are wondering what happens too. Also makes you wonder what a Super Black Pastel that's also a Black Eyed Leucistic will look like, as it can be made genetically speaking anyway!
