IRBA Show in San Mateo

aplaxco Sep 11, 2003 12:51 PM

Hi all-

I am thinking about going to the IRBA show in San Mateo this weekend but it is a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. Anybody know what this show is like? Not just for corns, but overall if anyone knows...

Also, is anyone else going?

I went last year and was very disappointed. There were a couple of good vendors, a couple of bad ones, but mostly it was just to small to be much of anything. Don't know what they have planned this year.

The North Bay Herp Society Bazaar? Have you been to that?

now that the show is in September. I have been disappointed in the past, but the past shows were all in May. Now that there is one in September the corn selection may be better. I know one of my friends is vending there for the first time this year, and I will be vending next year. Between the two of us, we should have a wide variety on the tables for 2004. As for being worth a 2 1/2 hour drive... with the prices of gas lately you are probably better of ording from all the animals South Mountian has to offer, the $35 shipping fee is probably the same as what you'd spend in gas and food stops. But I know it is always more fun to pick out your own animals!

Well, Happy Birthday! I just had one and got myself a new corn snake for mine. I think we are going to both shows too. Just to check it out so we know for the future. I think next year we will try to make it down to Pomona or San Diego.
