I am in the market for a couple of new cages which will house adult males beared dragons. These boys will be housed separately, and will be living in either a48x24x24 or 36x24x24. Do you have a preference for interior lighting (fixture mounted to top of cage), or for exterior lights sitting on a screen top? Cost is not really a factor. What's best for the lizards?
Anyone have comments on the melamine Custom Cages products?
Custom Cages are the closest to what I make myself so they are most suited in my opinion. I prefer lights inside because it is cost effective with less heat loss. Also screen tops let heat rise up and out which creates a much dryer enclosure which is not a good thing in most climates.
