Uncooperative photo subject

I'm not trying to be a tough guy or anything, I just found this funny. It has been a beautiful day here and I took some photos outside of different snakes. This albino Cal king was not helpful at all for the pics I normally try to get. When I tried to put it on the ground I got this reaction.

The follow up was what you'd expect.

It let go pretty quickly, but not for long.

I thought if I could get it away from my fingers it wouldn't try to latch onto me again. That didn't work, it tried for whatever it could get.

What about getting it off my left hand and onto my right? That might make a difference.

It did make a difference. Instead of biting my left hand again, it took a taste of my right!
I finally got it settled onto the ground for what I hoped would be a nice pic. Somehow it didn't seem to be as good as I'd expected.

If you're wondering, yes, I did wash my hands between snakes. I had not been handling rodents. I guess this snake just finds me irresistable!

I could see them on my computer, just another mystery.

As soon as he tired of that spot he found another.

I thought I'd be safer when he moved away from the fingers, but he had a one track mind.

I got him onto my other hand, thinking that would make a difference, but . . .

When I got him off me and onto the ground it seemed like his beautiful white scales had gained some color.

In case you're wondering, I do feed my snakes. I had washed my hands before I took him out. The snake just has an insatiable lust for human flesh, I guess.

Maybe he just thinks you taste like mice, y'know, the way we think everything tastes just like chicken.

Isn't that behaviour in the Cal. King Union handbook? LOL. Nice looking snake though.

Sometimes I think the kid with two pet snakes has something that those of us with 50 to 200 lost a long time ago.
