Probably gonna get bit tonight...

I guess Tiki is being a [bleep] today. There's some bad scales around her mouth or something and she's not liking them. My girlfriend opened the cage and she's coiling ready to bite. I'll let guys know it goes...oh and she still hasn't ate since sometime in December I think, personally I'd be a little cranky too.

Just suck it up and go for it!!!!! You getting bit is not the worst thing that can happen, your snake not getting proper care can lead to much more serious things!!!

Pics would help!!!

I didn't get the chance to get bit. My girlfriend moved her to a friends place cause she was keeping it at her parents and they wouldn't even bother to see if the snake had water in her dish. So now she should be getting environmental care now and hopefully she'll eat finally. My girlfriend guesses that the scale problem is cause Tiki is losing mass now.

Would it be best to wait till after her shed to force feed or do it right away? or should we keep waiting it out?

Force feeding is always a last resort. If she's now where she is getting proper care, temps, water etc. Let her settle in and see if she now wants to eat.
