if you turn on animal planet right now you will see the show "the wierd, true, and freaky". they are going to show a "KILLER" snake (a ball python). This is the kinda stuff that gives the reptiles and us the keepers a bad rep. why cant they just be honest..

Haha I just saw that one too! I was actually coming to write it up. That show had already lost all of my respect for calling coyotes a subspecies of wolf. Animal Planet has gone way down hill.

They used to be educational, now all you can expect is basically slander from them. All they show is animals preying on people or " WHEN ANIMALS ATTACK ". They always misrepresent the animals. This is tv nowadays.

I agree I havent watched animal planet in a while until the other day when someone posted about them playing shows just for shock value, last night I was flipping through stations and found ap and sure enough they had a show on called human prey if I remember correctly, this episode was about a hungry hungry hippo chomping a guy until he was about to die. why doesn't peta get after them and forget about h.r.669

Because that's the idea they want to instill in peoples minds that wild animals are dangerous . Animal planet and anti ownership groups go hand and in hand one helping the others business. These shows get bank rolled as advertising for bills like h.r.669 .
