I use a very weak bleach solution now. but I'm wondering what other options there are out there. I would like something safe for snakes and rats.

0.1 leopard gecko (Nacho)
1.0 Normal ball python (Arwen)

I use a vinegar solution. After it dries it leave no smell, and cleans really well.

I buy Healthy Habitat from lllreptile. Works amazingly well on most surfaces.

Its an antiseptic solution you mix with water. Totally safe for your animals. Jeff

Yep, since I first tried it, it is the only thing that I will use on my cages.

Anyone know hwere I can purchase this stuff in missouri? Pet stores act like I have two heads when I ask.

I saw it in the walmart pharmacy once, but have not been back to that store since, and it wasnt at the last location I was at.
But the link Jeff gave would be my next purchase source.

The Bean farm has it also. They have many sizes and they carry Nolvason which contains chlorahexidine which is a generic Nolvasan.

I'm thinking about switching to chlorhexidine as a cleaner, do you following the dillution directions on the back of the bottle or is there a better ratio?
