Housing?

I got a few questions about my king, shes been doing fine but I'm just curious about a few things. Every time I change her water, there's little spots in the water, but I don't think its mites because they aren't black. It looks kind of like lint (it wouldn't show up on a pic, of course,) which it might be because I have a screen top (about half is covered by a cloth) but I'm not sure and wanted some conformation.

I also have a question about temps, day is usually 84-88 depending on the temp outside, and night temps are usually 80-84, is this good?

Also, anyone going to the San Diego expo? I can't wait for it

Mites are black or rarely red. Wood mites are tan. Lint looks like lint.

Are those the temps in the whole cage or just the warm side? Because no they are not good.
