I was just wondering how long CAN ovulation last for? Is there a possibility to miss it overnight? Or would that be too quick? Just wondering, i have two snakes that i have witnessed 9-11 copulations and still nothing, still too early huh? Thanks for your info.

I can't tell you for sure how long ovulation lasts, but I will say that last year my male & female locked up about 15 times from October til April & she didn't ovulate til April 21st.

From what I understand the female BP can hold onto the sperm from a male for a really long time. I have heard up to five months in some cases. When she finally ovulates the process will be longer or shorter due to the number of eggs she is releasing to be fertilized.
Am I wrong? Any other insights?
