I'm not aware of any live ones. Type II snow hets are generally called Het for blizzard. The term "blizzard" is currently being used to differentiate between Type I and Type II snow hets.

So they are het for "blizzard" but no blizzard has been produced yet? That seems a liitle hard to believe since the anery type 2 gene has been out there for quite awhile now.

No live ones yet. I believe that Jeremy Stone produced a stillborn a while back.

There seems to be an issue of compatibility with the Type II gene and the Kahl albino gene. I don't know if anyone has tried it with a Sharp albino yet.

Type IIs have been around for a while but not many people want to work with those pesky little Nics. I don't know if anyone other that Warren Booth has any Type II Sonorans.

Another reason that there aren't many hets out there is because of the large amount of people who are not willing to knowing cross boa locales. I am one of those people...I have type IIs, I have albinos, but I have no desire to cross my Nics with my Colombians to produce anything, even the elusive blizzard.

thanks for the info Amie,
i agree the nics can be "pesky" at times and understand your reluctance to cross them. I however would love to get some of the nic morph genes into some of my columbians, in the hopes of producing the best features of both into the resulting cross.
