Of all the morphs out there, there is a story behind the origin.Let's hear some......

I was impressed with Keith's last post enough to try and drag together all the anecdotal info people have into a clearer and concise history of each morph. All too often this type of info is just lost and all that remains are what is heard 3rd hand....I'll start: Albino Eastern kings came from a wc TN(or TN valley-there is a little missing info here)snake that was sold to Kevin at NERD around 92.He bred it and it shortly passed away so all that remained were hets.He then brought Tom Chaing into the picture and Tom has been producing them ever since ....00-01?? To my knowledge there are no other hybrids or intergrades carrying this gene.
With all the genes out there it would be nice to see who has done what with what(can we include intergrades as these are more and more common---and they differ from hybrids). As Tony D says perfectly, once we start producing morphs the idea of purity is kinda lost anyway...let just try and produce the nicest looking kings! Hey below is my favorite origin of a morph. Feel free to print it out and use it to start your own new morphs!

I acquired the original ______________ (insert morph name in the blank) from a pet store in _______________ (insert small town name here) The pet shop guy (gal) said it was wild caught by _____________ (insert noun here, usually a child, old man, or a snake hater) and brought in. The store decided to sell it due to the fact that: (multiple choice selections below)

a) they needed cash
b) they don't work with that particular species
c) they needed cash
d) they were too stupid to know what it was
e) they needed cash

Once I got the morph, I called _____________ (insert big name breeder of species here) and they verified it was pure.

Sorry, no pictures!

Tales.....I know there are lots of fresh faces here but I had hoped to draw some of them "big game" down out of their trees. Do me a favor and do something to wake em up! Jeff
