What is the history on Rich Ihles Scoria boa? Talk about one smoking snake morph!

Seems like this Scoria Morph while being beautiful and unique. It seems to be going no where.
Have many people besides John & Rich the salmon boa purchased these animals?
I'm wondering if these people (Scoria originator family) have
missed their window for Hype and decent income with this Boa ?
2004 was a peak year in Boa sales. Its gone down hill
each year since 2004.
The '04 & '05 & even '06 seasons would've been the years to really
clean up and get this Boa Morph out there I would think.
Have they produced anymore since.Sounds as though 2007 was the
last breeding but no results posted.
A gorgeous Boa the Scoria Boa for sure.

Maybe Craig (I think that's his name) is hording them
Could be that he's still trying to figure out the genetics before he puts a pile of them on the market? Maybe it's his retirement plan?
I don't think he's missed the "hype" I know of a few people that would still love to get their hands on a few of those babies (and still pay a lot to do so). Unless someone else starts popping out another line of Scoria looking critters and sells them I think there will always be a market for the few that are "out there."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Rich is that only person to pry one of them out of the breeders hands.
Amie
Scoria is awesome and i want one.

Tap or take a nap
His name is Jeff and he had a litter of Hets in 2007.
17K for a male.
He is a relatively new breeder so I imagine hes just taking his time. The trait first appeared after two pets store boas copulated and the female gave birth. Believe it or not the first litter was sold at his store cheaper for cheaper than normal boa's. He figured their was something wrong with them....so he discounted the price.
A mutual friend of ours corrected his pricing, unfortunately that was before telling me....

A fellow named Craig Kade was the one showing off pictures of the scoria back in 2006. I though he was the one who produced them.

I don't know Craig...Jeff owns the pet store in Mandan, where the first litter of 17 were produced.

I don't know. If you search the kingsnake archives you'll see that 3 different userids posted pics of the scorias. Craig K was one but there was also scoriaboa1 and scoriaboa2. Neither of the two latter userids posted their names on the forum...maybe that was Jeff posting?
Amie
I will get one when they are ready to be marketed
