leopard gecko housing

I have 1 male leo that is 1 year old can i house him in a55 gallon tank with 3 babies that are 2 and 4 months old.thanks for the info.

You can, but there are risks involved. For instance, cases of adult males eating younger(baby) geckos have been documented.

Also, when the younger geckos get slightly bigger and start reaching sexual maturity, there will be more problems presented. An example, One of the hatchlings is a male and the oter adult male notices this once the younger male starts releasing pheromones..........a fight to death can occur. Another example, A female grows large enough to mate and become gravid and does so, but she is not large enough to be considered "healthy breeding size" (too young) and she can suffer health complications from this.............she's capable of reproducing, but it would have been best for her to gain an extra 10-15 grams first.

But ultimately it's up to you.
