I Got Babies! My 1st Litter Ever! Omg! O

az_gunner Mar 14, 2009 03:58 AM

I'm sooo excited!
I feel like I chugged a gallon of RedBull/Monster blend.
I was pacing and bouncing around in front of the cages.
I had to step away, so I don't stress momma out.

***Update*** Freckles has now proven Het Sunglow!

The numbers so far.... 4 slugs, 2 premi stillborn, 5 normals and/or hypos het albino, 7 albinos/sunglows (can't see the their little tails under the aspen and goo).

I'm waiting until momma is done, then give her some time to rest, before I move her to another cage.

Then I will go though the babies and goo.
I'll be sure to get pics of the babies.
I am waaaay too amped up to even try to go to bed. I'll probably burn out around noon, where I'll sleep with a big cheezy smile :D and dream about boas.

Here are the parents:

The male is Stripeline Albino (Slim Shady) X female Hypo Het sunglow (Freckles), from Crested Gecko. She proveds out Het, as she gave some sunglows, albinos, hypos het sunglow, and normals het albino. Not bad for a debut breeding.

.
The pair...

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
I'm so excited. Even my g/f got involved.
Here are some quick pics.... sorryfor the poor quality, I need a better camera and lighting.

So 2 albinos were down at go. I lost 1 albino and 1 sunglow, just a few hrs after bith (yolk belly I believe). I'm sad for those, but happy with overall results.

Momma is fine and had 2 small rats.

I am sorry for the losses, but the rest of the litter is beautiful. Big congrats. Keep sharing photos after they shed and eat and grow!
