More Easterns

Second clutch of Easterns arrived early this morning. Michelle of Ohio lay 11 good eggs and 3 infertile. Last shed was 2/22. Last year she lay 9 good eggs and 5 infertile on 3/19 after shed on 3/01. Mullet Fingers is the father with a back-up from young Archie. He's the nicest red-throat I've ever seen and should take over next year. More Easterns to come with Texas later this month. Some breeders post their eggs and many don't. Either way, this is certainly an exciting time of year.
