should i be ready for eggs soon? however she inst digging in the designated spot i made for her with the moistened sand. her sleeping habits are different as well as she didn't go to bed until about an hour till lights out. could she be ready to lay but isnt comfortable enough to do so? im a little worried about this, and ive been watching her closely... i think shes close to the laying time but i am worried she isnt comfortable enough to lay just yet. kinda worried...

Leave a pile of damp sand where she is digging, also put a few piles here and there/damp, she may pick one of them. Some times some MOMS do it there way, :0) Give her what she wants...

It varies some start digging a week before, some 3 days, some lay within hours, all of mine differ, just be WATCHFUL, but not bothersome. May want to use a low wattage night light so you can check her when its dark.

Best wishes, hope she does well, any problems give a holler Let us know !

Do collareds look "fat" when they are gravid? With my leopard geckos they usually look fat like stuffed sausages when they are very gravid. I always know when a female has laid eggs because I walk in and find her suddenly "not fat"! That's when I know to look all around for eggs. Sometimes they put them where I wanted, and sometimes buried in "mystery locations" in the sand. It can be like an easter egg hunt!

Yep, they look fatter as time goes on... they waddle, lol. Then after they look sickly, so sunken in, so thin, just fed em good after, a nice Congratulations Mommy meal is in order.
