If you could only keep one, which????

chris allen Mar 15, 2009 04:54 PM

Which would it be......? One on the left, or one on the right? They are brothers, so I think im going to stick with just one, but man do I like them both. The one on the right is slightly bigger right now(maybe 1/2 to 1", but they are young and still have alot of time to grow and possibly change color.

i like the one on the right

Awww. that's sad. We're near. I'll foster one.

chris allen Mar 16, 2009 07:01 PM

LOL, I like both of them alot, but I only have so much room, and I think to have another male from a different bloodline in place of one of them may be smarter........who knows, we'll see. You know, I probably would go for the foster thing if I could use the male if I needed to, lol.

BDlvr Mar 17, 2009 02:59 AM

That's the whole theory of foster. You can take him back.

I vote for the one on the right. He seems to have richer color and the larger size is good to!

I for sure dig the one on the left. Good luck making up your mind between those two.

I am seeing that everyone is liking the larger dragon...but i really dig the dragon on the left! I love the contrast of colors.

Not sure why what I thought I posted didn't show up. Anyway, which one to keep would depend on the female you intend to breed too? The one on the right has a richer color but is lacking a strong pattern and the one on the left has a great pattern but the color is not as deep on his back. I like to balance a pair, breed the opposite type male to the female. Even look at a bright orange to a red to maintain balance. So which one is best to keep would depend on the female you intend to breed too (IMHO).

thanks again. Im at the point where I have to make some decisions, cut back on some, possibly add some where I need/want to, but either way very fortunate and lucky to have to "pick" between two awesome males. I do like the strong pattern, and he has some crazy blue bars, and the other one is just awesome overall, lol. I might just have to keep both!

faygo19 Mar 16, 2009 07:15 PM

I would keep them both they are both wicked sweet. If you do have to make a choice good luck!

I like the one on the right. Not because of the size but the colors seem richer and the contrasting whites stand out more.

TBL Mar 16, 2009 07:46 PM

The one on the right has the better coloring in my opinion.

beardie4u Mar 17, 2009 01:40 PM

Left...love the side bars!! But agree tough decision.

Hi Chris

I would go with the one on the right. I am personally more partial to a patternless red and the one on the right seems to have more saturation. Just my opinion though. They are truly both nice dragons. Best Wishes Wendy Georgia Bearded Dragons
