Can i house a 5" male bull and a 6" female together or should i house seperately i know to split for feeding as to avoid any injurys.

I think so. I do that alot this time of year. Like you said, seperated them for feeding.

i should also add that i am not wanting to pair these up till next year as the female is not ready. should i only house together if i am wanting to breed or does it not matter?

They will probably breed if that large and housed together, you shouldn't keep them together unless you are prepared for a clutch this year.

oh yeah forgott that meant inches oh well my bad i am not ready for a clutch this year neither is the female i have only just purchased the pair and female is slightly thin male is perfect can u think of a temporary storage idea until i can get a new setup sorted?

Wallyworld has 10 gal. tanks for 12 bucks, a top for 8, some very large plastic water bowls with a space underneath for a hide. Cheap but a little crowded, but will do for a bit until you can get something larger. Newspaper for now will do.
