I'm reposting this with a larger photo.
Last August a friend of mine came across this 6 to 7 foot YT near a river on the Peru/Bolivian border. He became bored with fishing, and began exploring the nearby growth for animals. He soon spotted a tegu and followed it a short distance when he encountered the YT.
The three photos are shown in the sequence in which they were taken. Because of my pedestrian computer skills, I'll have to show each photo in a separate post.
