YT in the wild (part 3)

This shot was taken immediately after he released the YT. Even though my friend is a boa guy and not a Dry enthusiast, he thought the animal was impressive.

Apparently, the herping was better than the fishing that day.

Brian, that is an impressive animal, high contrast and a bright yellow head...not many like that. What general area is it from? Thanks for posting this not often photographed animal, Vic

Yep, that's a very different looking YT, with more yellow on its head than any I've seen in the flesh or in photos here in the states.

My friend said he was fishing on the Peruvian side of a river that separates Peru and Bolivia. Beyond that he wasn't specific.

When I speak with him again I'll try to get more details.
