Has anyone bred hypos and how long approx. does it take to find out they are hypos?

I had a normal female bread to a hypo tangerine and am anxious to know the results. I have 2 hatchlings that hatched in the last 2 days. Thanks and is there a approximate percentage rate in breeding normal to hypo tangerine that I need to know about.Like how many would be hypo out of 4 eggs for example?

Even when breeding hypo to hypo there is a certain amount of luck that is required to get hypo offspring. Hypo is not a recessive trait and as such there are no real guarantees.

I suggest there is at least a 6 months period to determine if your hatchlings will obtain and retain the hypo status, especially considering your pairing. I know of at least one person that bought a 6 month old hypo that degraded to a reduced pattern within the next 6 months.

I believe that those that are selling hatchlings and juvies as for sure Hypos are not doing the right thing. So much can change over the course of a year.
