There really is no one single answer on this.Every single snake is different just as people etc...
Just watch the snakes and they will usually tell you when its time.I have had female hondurans breed at 250 grams even though I had no plans on doing so.They had the age ( 30 months) and decided to ovulate so a fertile clutch is better than a wet bag clutch.
I try and hold off till they are 3 years old ( 30 months at breeding time) and are about 400 grams.
Nelsoni aren't near as big and they will breed easy at 200 grams and 18 months old.But again, its nice to wait for them to be 30 months old and 250 grams.
Good luck,
Shannon
Excellent !! Thanks so much. How long should i leave my male in to visit a female before putting him with another female. Best time is after a female shed correct?

If she's ready, and he's ready, they'll be hooked up in 10 minutes. If you have several females to run him thru i'd say if they're not hooked up in an hour move him to a different female. If they do hook up, don't disturb them, and once they've separated--15 minutes to several hours--remove him. Rest him for a day or two. Then put him with another female. Return him to the original female maybe 4 days after the first, then in another 4 days, and--if you're not running him to too many other females--once more, for a 4th copulation, which would all be within about a 12 day period.
In my experience, the more eager they are when first introduced, the more "ready" they both are and the greater the likelihood of getting good eggs.
BTW, i usually wait til after the females' SECOND post-brumation sheds before putting them together for the first time. Some'll go after the first shed, but i found those pairings were less often successful.
