Salmon Aby X Suriname

grooter2 Mar 16, 2009 10:31 PM

The only boa that I own in the photos is the Female Suriname. The Salmon male is what I am thinking about purchasing and the other boa morph I believe is a hypo suriname that I found on redtailboa.net. My question is if I bred my female suriname to the Salmon boa, is their any chance of producing atleast one boa that looks like that gorgeous cross boa? The Salmon male is a Salmon Aby bred from a Salmon Aby x Aby breeding. Anyways, take a look at the photos and tell me if you think its possible or would I need a super salmon boa.
Thanks,
Mike

You probably haven't received many replies because many people do not agree on cross breeding BCC and BCI. You have an awesome looking Suri and pairing her up with a male suri would give you awesome snakes. However, if you are shooting for the cross in the 3rd pic it is possible that you could recreate that. I believe that pic is of a salmonXsuri cross. Half of your litter would be hypoXsuri crosses and half would be BCIXSuri crosses. Their looks can vary significantly it all depends on what characteristics they take from their parents. So your litter will vary in appearance but I'd say there is a good chance of producing some beautiful crosses.
