i found some little white mites in my balls water dish and i think the are wood mite or wood lice so i cleaned out the aquarium of the jungle earth and put in reptile carpet.the only problem is it won't keep the humidity I'm getting readings of 85.5f with 50 percent humidity wich is lower then i would get with the jungle earth.1st question is are those readings OK? and 2nd is if not what type of bedding is good for humidity and contains no wood? tnks

I like Coco Bedding. Does not keep mites, is totally safe for the snake, and is great at keeping humidity. Its also easy to spot clean, and much more reasonable than Aspen or Cypress.
