What morph?

Just wanted to see what you guys thought about this 2001 Evans-line double-morph.

Wished I had a closeup of the eyes. They were a dark purple with a smokey glaze. He would turn almost white prior to shedding.

I would guess: Evans Hypo x Caramel

because, they formaly thought the Caramel will be a new Hypo and they tryed to prove the "different" lines.

Hey Kevin,

Looks like one of the hatchlings that I got from my Evans stock last season. He only lived a couple of days so I can't add any new info.

I hope to be able to tell you more later this season as I currently have two females that are gravid from that line. My third female is having some health issues so I don't think that I will be getting any eggs from her this year.

Take Care

Rich

Yes,
This snake was from a pastel pink breeding to an Evans line hypo.
It was first named Silver phase. Richard Evans believed it to be both pastel and hypo. It does differ though tremendously from the hypo pastel(pink glow) which has the ruby eyes, greenish pink background, and lavender blotches. The post was deleted for whatever reason, but pics are in the hognose gallery.

The silver did sire offspring and you may have the f1's. There is definitely something cool going on in this bloodline.

Good luck with them

If it is at all possible, it may be that these double morphs lean toward one morph or the other more. The snake titled pink glow is definitely different but looks much more like a pastel.
The silver from Richard Evans, however, obviously looks like or resembles a hypo.

Anyone else have experience with double/designer morphs?
