so i feed my bp today and i went to feed lexie my corn i took her out of her cage like normal and everything. i was playing with her and all was fine i put her down on my bed for a sec and came back and she struck at me like 6 times i was like wtf u never strike at anyone kus ur soooo sweet. and i put her in her feeding tub and she ate right away like she always does. and she is still in her tub striking at me. can snakes just turn on you??? or is she jus grumpy??? or can this be a sign of something?

She tastes freedom for a second, but in a strange place, strange smells, etc. Of course she is defensive.
Think nothing of it. I bet she's a young snake. All's well. Never fear, she'll be fine next time you handle her.

ya shes prob 4 months old at the most

and they calm down alot once they get older tho right

i have a pair that are like that. Did you have mouse scent on your hand when you took her out of her cage. I have a female that like to bite on the occasion I just dont handle all of my snakes alot a few times a week.
