My lil guy is almost identical in size and weight. He also has the same types of black markings on the belly. Does that go away with age? I think they're really cool looking. How often and what is he feeding on right now if you don't mind me asking?

i dont know about the spots yet...i am wondering if theres anything to them having the spots.
im feeding mine a small mouse a week. er, every 7-10 days. sometimes i make him wait a little longer, just so i know hes hungry. he eats well though. he might be slow to attack, but he almost always takes it so long as its warm- i feed frozen/thawed to all my kids.
a funny story about him. a few feedings ago he didnt snap at it like they do. he just gently took it by the foot. and then ate it. it was like i gave it to him. instead of him taking it. it was an odd moment, but he ate none the less. lol..
anyways, enough babbling out of me.
would love to see pics of yours. maybe we got him from the same clutch? lol

I'll have to get some pics up tomorrow, where do you live? That same clutch thing might be possible! Funny feeding story with my little guy also. I also feed F/T, 2 weeks ago he missed the mouse, and struck himself! It took him 3 tried before he struck, coiled, and ate. I swear, these animals continue to amaze me.

im in ga. all mine have missed a time or two but none have struck at themselves. they tend to miss when the mouse is swinging or something like that.
i want more ball pythons too. i love em! :D
