I have a 05 hypo poss dh sunglow and i had her in with my albino arab last oct. I seen what appeared to be a ovulation but not the football type one..Then about a week and a half or so she went into shed and shed on 12/20.. So going by that if shes gravid she is due on 4/4.. Today is day 89 and she looks slimmer..Her middle to tail area is not real bulky but kind of thick and today she pooped a couple of small stools..Is that normal it doesn't appear to be waxy..And does a female get smaller her last few weeks from her middle to tail area..Thx answers will be appreciated..

Of course only going off what you said.....

If a female that looked gravid starts to thin out in the ovary area, NOT moving the egg mass further down towards the vent, then IMO it's likely she did not take and is re-absorbing the ova.

Has she been huuging the heat? If so, what are her external body temps?

Pics would be a huge help here....shooting blind!!

I'll put pics on once i figure that out lol.. But when shes on the heat shes 86.5 to 88.5 ..Shes like clockwork everyday..She will be on the cool end for a few hours and then on the heat the rest of the time..She does the same thing everyday

sounds like a thermoregulating female.

Sadly most are illiterate and have not read the manual, therefore do not know what they are supposed to do. Sometimes all you can do is wait and watch.

Last year I had one female I finally gave up on, was going home to feed her and found a tiny litter, only four babies. Soooo....????

Yeah well i know its a wait and see and i appreciate your response..I just never read anything that they poop 2 weeks before due date and she hasn't eaten in 4 weeks so we will see soon i hope.

Often a gravid fem will defecate a "Waxy stool" give or take 5
days or so before parturition.
Normally towards the end of term the fem thins out in the front part of the body and
looks quite full or flat tire look in the last third of the body.
There are no set in stone looks or parameters really,
many different things occur.
Many people have noticed in the case of a "slug out" fems will
often throw the slugs close to two weeks early.

They can Reabsorb the Follicles but once they have ovulated those ova cannot be reabsorbed.
Its either fertilized or unfertilized ova.
Meaning a litter of babies or a litter of slugs.

So if she was looking thick back in oct or whatever.
She was probably working on follicles to ovulate.
Then for whatever reason stopped making follicles
and reabsorbed the follicles.

Actually she was looking a lot thicker 2 months into the pregnancy i meant then she does now..After her pos i fed her a small meal every 2 weeks and stopped 4 weeks ago..The main question is it normal for her to poop out a stool 2 weeks before her due date..

I can not answer if its normal,I don't know if there are equal percentages of fems who dedicate two weeks prior,and equal percentages who do not.
I don't have the statistics to say one way or the other.
I would say its considered a normal body function so its normal.
What I do know is if its unusually gooey or waxy looking stool.
It could be an indication she is preparing for parturition.
