question on heat tape?

mtndude23 Sep 11, 2003 07:03 PM

Hi, I was wondering if heat tape only gives off heat from mostly one side or both. I'm wondering because I'm interested in attaching it to the top of my boa cages to create a hot spot on the bottom, rather then letting them rest on it. If it just gives off heat from the one side. Thanks for any help guys

FlexWatt definitely produces heat on both sides. By providing a 'back' on one side (needless to say a non-flammable, heat resistant material), you force some of the heat out to the other side...
If you have any detailed questions, let me know.
