I read a post you made a year ago on google ask and was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I purchased a ball python from a guy and it came in with URI (I got a smoking deal on the 10 animals i bought and the other 9 are in great shape as is she weight wise) and i will not return them to the keeper id rather spend the time and money to get her better. anyways . . she was already bubbling when I opened her tub after the 7 day wait period I give them so they don't get more stressed out after shipping. so I started a treatment of Baytril for the infection and am on day 7 of 14 of the treatment, my question is my vet told me to keep her humidity at 0%? yet another big breeder friend told me to keep her humid? the reason I ask is she started to bubble blood around her mouth? I started to think that the big breeder friend is correct as my thinking is that her lung in now so dry it started bleeding? but yet the vet said to keep her at 0% humidity so the URI did not get worse, the thought of keeping her dry made sense at first but after the rational the breeder gave me it made me second guess what the vet told me. I cant get a hold of the vet till Monday.
Any advice would be awesome
