My adult bull snake has not eaten since October. Temps are good and he is active. Have tried various times of day as well as sizes and colors of rats. He very active but showns no interest in any kind. Any ideas?

get 4 or 5 day old rat pinks and put them in one corner of the enclosure. Leave the snake alone for a day or two, I have had luck with this technique when jump starting spring feeding for those who need it. There is something about a day old pink that Pituophis simply can't refuse...... good luck
(I use the same technique when getting trouble feeder friends to eat. I substitute the rat pinks with red footed tortoises...... they can't refuse them.)

Did you cool him over the winter? If not, his internal clock may be out of whack. If you did cool him he may be looking for a mate and not interested in food.

I got my southern pine eating again by offering her mouse hoppers...

Thanks for the info. He ate late yesterday with a rat hopper.
