Has anyone shipped FedEx? Do they allow leopard geckos as a policy, or would I have to lable them perishable (instead of live harmless lizard)? I was thinking of shipping them via fed ex priority over night. I says it will be there by 10:30am the next buisness day. Does anyone know if this is a good idea? Any feedback would be apreciated. Thanks!

FedEx will not knowingly accept live animals for shipment. FedEx and USPS share airplanes. USPS accepts live animals for shipment. If your properly labeled package that you shipped with USPS is scheduled to go aboard a FedEx plane FedEx will not accept it and it will sit for the next availbe USPS plane.
So in short I do not recommend FedEx to ship. UPS can most likely get your package to its destination by the same time and USPS will also get it there in a reasonable time if held for pickup.

Hope this helps,

That is odd, I recently received a gecko shipment from a well known breeder that posts here. The box was plainly marked with its content. It was shipped FedEx.
