Help IDing this snake

langly2112 Mar 22, 2009 12:52 PM

I was told it is an African Bush Snake-and it eats frogs-that's it.

Anyone know more about this species? Like which African Bush Snake it is.

Thanks.

It is one of the species of Philothamnus, but I couldn't tell you which. They are a confusing bunch and without locality data, you are going to have at tough time.

That's what I was afraid of-I thought the lighter spots might be helpful..

BTW-the inside of it's mouth is black-would that be helpful?

Thanks ^__^ for trying
