Bairds? Gray rat?

Hey,

My brother had these sold to him as gray rat snakes... I firmly beleive that they are bairds... some told me they are black rats... and i'm confused now...

can someone give me a good word....

Those aren't Bairds. They are either greys or yellows(my best guess) just judging from the blotch size and head patterns.

I agree that they appear to be baby yellow or perhaps 'greenish' rats. Look closely at the eye color. Baby yellows tend to have that slight orangish cast to the eyes more often than greys. JMHO of course, YMMV.

I have 8 baby bairdi right now and those sure look like grey rats to me.
