Im going to buy the supplies for a 5ft high, 30" long and 20" wide... Im planning to put a ficus, a croton and a pothos... im making a water dripper.... This is eaither for a veiled or a panther......

But i have some questions...

I was wondring how much a blue panther would be.. in amercian or (preferably) canadian... at a reptile show...

And if i got it as a baby could I put it in a 10 gallon glass tank till it gets older??

And should i suspend the food bucket up high in the cage or leave it at the bottom.

Blue panthers in florida shows do not go for $200, so I guess it really depends on where you are. I got my blue bar ambanja at 3 months for only $125 and he turned out better than I could ever imagine, baby blue stripes with bright red and orange all over. And the nosey be's I've seen at the shows are only about $150 same age. I do agree with the other guy I would not put your baby in a glass cage unless its going to be for a very short time. . .as in 2-3 days max. I acctually prefer feeding cups, that way you can be sure how much food your cham is getting. and yes hang it about midway up.
just my 2 cents.

A "Blue Panther" at a show would probably start at about $200 (American money) at around 3 months old. The older ones are more expensive, usually up to around $4-500 or even more depending on everything, and even then they can be hard to find as adults for sale, even at a show. I wouldn't put a baby panther (or any chameleon) in a glass tank if they are over 2 months old. From that point on, they should be in screen cages. About your feeding cup question, it sounded like you are building this cage, and if you can, make it as cricket escape proof as you can and don't use a container for crix at all. Some chameleons can be stubborn towards those anyways, and it's alot more exciting for them and you if they're hunting for food. But if you must hang a cup, hang it up higher in the cage, just under a perch that they are on often. Make sure your water isn't dripping into it.
