What is everyone's opinion on these? How well do they work in keeping ambient temps in larger enclosures, lets say 8'Lx4'Wx6'H.

What is everyone's opinion on these? How well do they work in keeping ambient temps in larger enclosures, lets say 8'Lx4'Wx6'H.
I guess it depends more on what type of ambient temps you would like to achieve? 65F? or 85? or 75? That makes a big difference as does the part of the world you live in, becuase if you are in OZ 85 if not problem with no extra energy where as it would be a problem on the North Pole.
Over all, for every enclosure I own, it is heat tape for the snakes and light bulbs for the lizards, period.
(that is 72 to 75ish for my ambient air temps for monitors)

I don't like my monitors to be able to touch their heat source because of burns so I use light bulbs during the day and ceramic heaters at night...if needed. I like my heat source to be behind screen buts just me.... Never have tried a heat panel.
