Ovulation

Marcial Mar 24, 2009 09:39 PM

This is one of my normal females... she has not eaten in close to 2 months. Does this look like an ovulation? I have caught her laying inverted several times since these photos were taken.

Figure on eggs about 40-50 days from the day you took that pic, she did ovulate then!

I don't see an ovulation there. Keep watching though, once you witness an ovulation it's hard to miss.

Looks like an ovulation to me. Not all ovulations are as dramatic as the super ovulations posted on here at times. I have had females that had ovulations like the one pictured here with 9 eggs being laid as a result. In my experience I have had no ovulations that look as if my female swollowed a football. I check my females every day without exception during the breeding season.

Beautiful girl. What did you breed her with? Best of luck with her.

She is gorgeous. Looks similar to a fire even has the head marker. Looks like it very well could be ovulation. Best of luck with her.

I think she may have ovulated.
She's quite pretty. I'd love to know what you bred her to, but nevertheless, I'll bet she'll make some beautiful babies.
Good Luck!

Thanks you all for the feedback. She was bred by a het clown. I will keep you posted on what happens. Out of all my normals, she really stands out... her pattern has alot of depth with the lighter fading in the ceter of the dark areas.
