Roswell

Caddell Mar 25, 2009 12:19 PM

Can some one tell me how the Roswell is produced.
I've been told it's a Suri 50% and Albino 50%
Do you need two of the 50% to breed together or one 50% to an actual Suri.
Many thanks to all that reply.
Col

The Roswell boas were produced by Heather Martin (ilovemylizard) from a trio of laddertails that came from a normal apearing Kahl Male bred to a import Surinam with a connected circle back ladder tail appearance. To produce Roswell's you will need two animals from that line each having the Roswell gene. Heather does not own the entire first litter, the remainder were sold as what they looked like since Roswell was unknown at the time.

It's thought that CBLT pattern on these animals is the het version of this trait making it a codominant trait. Still early on and more breeding trials are needed to fully prove the morph and it's method of expression.
