mangrove snake

ianrambell Mar 25, 2009 08:41 PM

I'm interested in getting one of these snakes. I'm having a hard time finding the humidity levels and general care on these guys. Does anyone here have any experience with this snake or can post a link for care any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
I.C.

I'm assuming you mean a Mangrove Snake (Boiga dendrophila) not a Mangrove Watersnake (Nerodia clarkii). If that is true, you should search the Rear-fanged forum here. There are lots of good tips on there and lots of people with experience with this species.

You are aware that this species is venomous and possibly dangerous. They also aren't very pleasant in disposition, from what I know.
