Stacking Animal Plastics & Boaphile Cage

Omnivorous Mar 27, 2009 03:13 AM

Anyone here stacked both AP Cages & Boaphile Cages together. I know they arent exactly the same size and was wondering if anyone here has done this and how sturdy is it. I have some of the 4'x2' boaphile cages and am thinking about getting an AP arboreal and an AP terestrial cage and was wondering if it would be better to stack them seperate or if together is fine. I know they wont lock together but as long as its sturdy & safe.

I have both cage brands. I would not do this, you will have a very hard time controlling the temps. And I would definately not put the boaphiles on the bottom, I would imagine the weight of the ap cages would crush them over time. The ap cages are much heavier. If you have to do this because of space, I would put the boaphiles on top, and put at least 2 inches of insulation between the boaphiles and the ap's.
