The worst weather

What is the worst weather you ever caught a snake in? I've heard some strange stories. I once found five gopher snakes within 100 yards of each other as rain was just ending (San Francisco Bay Area).

I read where herpers found snakes under almost every bit of spagnum moss they turned over after a rain storm in Florida.

We are having crummy weather here in Central Texas and I would like to keep some hope alive for this weekend. Thanks for reading.
