hi my friend has some concerns over his texas rat she hasnt eaten in 3 weeks but prior to this was regular as clockwork i myself dont own rats and have never had this problem with my snakes so i cant help him that much any suggestions?

Is it definitely as "she" because if it's male and of breeding age then fasting is not unusual as he searches for a mate at this time of year?
